Green’s Gunyah Museum

Green’s Gunyah Museum is located on the main street of Lockhart, a small town on Wiradjuri Country in the Riverina Murray region of New South Wales.

Run by the Lockhart and District Historical Society, the museum displays artefacts, photographs and farm machinery, with a focus on the historic Brookong Station and the famous Shearer’s Strike that took place there in 1888.

The Doris Golder Gallery displays the unique layered wool art portraits and landscapes of Doris Golder, created with natural coloured fleece.
