Jindera Pioneer Museum

Jindera Pioneer Museum is located in the small village of Jindera, on Wirajuri Country, in the Riverina Murray region of New South Wales.

Centred around an original 1840s wattle and daub cottage on two acres of grounds, Jindera Pioneer Museum recreates the lives of early German settlers who traveled to the area from Adelaide in 1867.

The museum’s collection of farm buildings includes a period furnished slab hut, machinery shed, historic post office, forge and the restored 1874 residence and store of German migrants Johann Rosler and Peter Wagner, complete with 19th century furniture, decor, shop fittings and historically themed retail goods.
