Lightning Ridge Heritage Cottage and Hospital Gallery
Lightning Ridge Heritage Cottage and Hospital Gallery is located in the town of Lightning Ridge, on Yuwaalaraay Country, in the Far West region of New South Wales.
Managed by the Lightning Ridge Historical Society, the site is home to a 1930s opal miners’ hut furnished with items of local historical interest. On the same block, there is the relocated and restored 1915 nurses cottage where nurse memorabilia, items of local historical interest, and photographs are displayed in tribute to all bush nurses.
