Bridget lives on Wawarawarry Country in Western Sydney and has interned with Museums and Galleries of NSW on Gadigal Country in Sydney where she has researched and written for Storyplace.
Growing up, family holidays became synonymous with museum visits for Bridget, who loved following activity trails to discover objects. This experience grew into a fascination with history and what can be learnt from the past.
Bridget’s fascination with history led her to study a Bachelor of Arts in ancient history and education at Macquarie University and now (2023) a Master of Museum and Heritage Studies at the University of Sydney.
Bridget loves to share her passion for history. Her writing aims to engage people with history and invite them to immerse themselves in the past. She believes that while a picture can tell a thousand words, a museum object can tell even more.
