Fiona Starr is a professional historian, archaeologist and curator, who has worked for over 20 years researching and sharing stories from Australia’s history.
Fiona has worked as Curator of Hyde Park Barracks and The Mint for Sydney Living Museums and Curator of Social History at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery. As a consultant, she has also worked with other small, regional, and large museums and heritage sites around Australia, curating social history and archaeology collections, developing exhibitions and writing interpretive signage.
She has published widely and holds a BA (Hons) in Australian Archaeology, MA in Museum Studies and a PhD in Heritage Conservation.
