After retiring from a long career in science, Tony Dawson decided to pursue his other main area of interest—Australian History and, in particular, people’s relationship to the land.
His first book, James Meehan – a most excellent surveyor, was published in 2004. Since then he has published a further six books as well as articles for journals, magazines, and websites.
Every person has a story to tell, and there is a human story behind every object. Tony finds satisfaction in uncovering those stories and presenting them to the broader community.
